Ecological research

We work together with the universities of Otavalo, Ibarra, Quito or Atuntaqui, but also with the Ministry of the Environment. There is an opportunity for field work, depending on the needs at the time.

What are your duties?

Organize seminars with local professors, teachers and students.
Research together with local professors, teachers and students.
Discuss with the local organization the intention to teach only the relevant scientific processes, promote an awareness of environmental issues or lead students towards a shift in their own environmental behaviour.
Present the science objectively, using data and relevant examples.
Discuss the policy and economic issues related to this topic.
Let the students work with data to discover for themselves the speed and magnitude of environmental change.

We teach or do research from Monday to Friday, hours depend on the time of year.
