Despite all efforts made in order to improve education in Laos, the quality still remains substandard. There is a shortage of (motivated) teachers, the school infrastructure leaves much to be desired and early school leaving are some of the problems. These problems are visible in Vang Vieng where the growing tourist markt ask for staff who speak english. No or poor knowledge of the English language is a problem in a search for a decent job in the tourism sector. We provide English lessons to the children of communities that lack access to it.

The education project connects helpless schools and our training center with volunteers so that the students can acquire valuable English language skills. In addition, volunteers bring new ideas and perspectives that promote cross-cultural understanding.
