All members of our alliance focus their activities on the sustainable development goals set by the United Nations. The Sustainable Development Goals are the blueprint for a better and more sustainable future for everyone. They address the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate, environmental degradation, prosperity, peace and justice. The goals are interrelated and in order to leave no one behind, it is important that we achieve every goal and goal by 2030.
It is difficult to attribute every project volunteered to a specific objective because each project often seeks to include multiple objectives in a project's objectives. For example, a education project contributes to objective #4 (quality education) while also ensuring that objective #8 (quality work and economic growth) is achieved, which in turn leads to the achievement of objective #1 (no poverty).
In this way, our volunteers who work in our projects are involved in achieving all Sustainable Development Goals.
By joining our alliance, the collaborating organizations also focus on SDG #17 (Forging partnerships to achieve all goals). A successful sustainable development agenda requires partnerships. These inclusive partnerships, based on principles and values, a shared vision and shared goals that put people and the planet first, are needed at the global, regional, national and local levels.
